When do I need multiple licenses?
Each distinct application needs a license. We define an application as sharing a
common purpose or a common database, regardless of how it's divided into
subsystems or services.
What does 'unlimited nodes' mean?
There isn't any limit to the number of staging or production servers you can
deploy to, provided they are running the same application.
Can I purchase licenses for both Elixir and Python?
Yes! Purchase separate licenses for each platform or choose Universal Pro for both.
Multi-platform purchases receive a 10% discount, which stacks with yearly billing
for up to 20% savings.
Can I upgrade from monthly to yearly?
Yes, you can upgrade directly from your account page. We'll credit your remaining
monthly balance toward a discounted annual subscription.
Do you have a discounted or free plan for open source?
No, there aren't any discounts for open source applications. Oban itself is
entirely open source and free and Pro is a means of supporting Oban's development.
Is there a free trial?
No, we don't offer a free trial. However, you can explore all of the features
through our comprehensive documentation and cancel anytime if Pro isn't the
right fit.
Do you offer support?
In addition to community backed help on the Elixir
Forum, license holders may email us directly for technical support and receive
preferrential help on the GitHub issue tracker.
What is in Enterprise support?
In addition to email, we'll sign a MNDA, join your private Slack or Teams, and offer
video call support to help triage Oban related issues.
What is encrypted source distribution?
Python Pro packages use encrypted source tied to your license key. Tokens last 30 days
for monthly plans or 90 days for annual plans. After expiration, reinstall to get a
fresh package. This only affects installation—running code works indefinitely.
